In our family the art has been passed on from generations. This type of etching that we use was originated in Europe in the XV century.

In the art of etching  we have developed an original inking technique; this has let us achieved a  multicolor print. In your visit to the studio you will be able to see different and interesting techniques that we use to produce the etchings like: aquatint, hardground, drypoint and mezzotint. You will have an opportunity to see up close the different materials, tools and original copper etchings with there prints. 

It will be an incredible  and unique experience to be with Guadalupe for the entire journey of the etching process were she will personally give you a demonstration of how  she applies the ink to  the copper  plate and eventually how it  prints it on the cotton paper. Also you will see all the different products we make out of these original pieces of art.
